With a total budget of €329,750 / Fr.527,600 spread over three years - France: €148,250 / Switzerland: €181,500 - the Absinthe Trail benefits from numerous sources of financial support:

France:

- Larmont Federation of Councils: €3000 / Fr.4800

- Franche-Comté Region: €9000 / Fr.14,400

- Département of Doubs: €9000 / Fr.14,400

- European Regional Development Fund (ERDF / European Territorial Cooperation Programme INTERREG IV France-Switzerland 2007-2013) which contributes 60% of the French budget, i.e. €88,950.

- Pontarlier Town Council contributes €32,650 to the French budget.

Switzerland:

- Republic and Canton of Neuchâtel (New Regional Policy Fund): Fr.37,595 / €25,565

- Loterie Romande (Swiss Lottery): Fr.92,000 / €62,560

- INTERREG IV Arc Jurassien Federal Programme which contributes 41.3% of the Swiss budget, i.e. Fr.120,000 / €81,600.

- Val-de-Travers Regional Association: Fr.13,800 / €9384

- Association Pays de l'Absinthe contributes Fr.27,005 / €18,700 to the Swiss budget.
